alpine 9965.. thinking about getting it, anyone have any input on this head unit, cant find anyone that has one...it is new. but someone should have one, i would think.

 

considering it's around $1000 more than lesser Alpine units... I don't think many people have one yet. if you don't mind me asking what kind of a setup will you be using this uber-expensive head unit with?

 

If its anything like the black and white version, I don't think it would be worth the money. My friend has it on his s2k and noone likes it. Me personally not a big fan of alpine. Our installer was telling us to go with clarion or eclipse. I ended up with JVC Exad KD-AVX1... I like the unit, but could have more options. DVD comes out extremely clear.
