What wiring kit do i need for two amp setup?
I hope this isn't too lame of a question. I just bought some compenents but i don't know what sort of wiring kit to get.
I have the following:
Alpine CDA-9815 HU with 27 watts RMS of continuous 4-channel power. (Alpine's V-Drive internal amplifier requires a direct fused connection to your vehicle's battery! We recommend that you purchase a 10-gauge amp wiring kit.)
JL Audio 300/4 Amp
Polk Ex3560 Component speaker set.
I figure i'll purchase one or more of the amp install kits from Crutchfield. A 10 guage for the HU and an 8 guage for the JL Audio??? I was wondering if one would try and combine the wiring for the HU amp and the JL Audio amp? Crutchfield has several wiring kits that are for a 2 amp system.
What wiring kit/setup makes sense and who makes the best wires? I need extra wiring for the speakers too I take it. Should i get a certain length? Should i get a Cap for this system?
Many Thanks!

If it were me, I'd run a fused 4 gauge power wire from the battery to a distribution block. From there you could run your power to the JL amp and your deck. 4 gauge may seem like a little overkill for some, but it does give you a little room if you should choose a larger amp.
As far as the best cables, I strongly recommend Monster cables from my experience.
A power cap is not required but a 1/5 farad cap would be sufficient for a smaller system such as yours.

that 10 gauge requirement on the head is bogus. if you look at the alpine harness the power & ground wires are 18 or 20 gauge (it's not that big)!. if you're not using the internal amp then harness power is fine.
i second the wire is wire thing. i use "AMP KING" wiring. the only difference between that and the rockford fosgate wiring that came with a kit i bought is the fancy wire braid look of the wire--which is covered up by my loom tubing
