Default Where does one purchase a 12v LED?

I hope someone can point me in the right direction here. I'm looking to purchase a 12v panel mount LED, similar to the ones that come with car alarm systems. Specifically, I'm looking for a green one that runs in the 20ma range.

Anyone know where I can purchase one of these? I've tried Google, Ebay, no luck. Radio Shack doesn't seem to sell panel mount LEDs. Is there another store I can go to, or a website that sells these?

Where would you purchase an LED for your car alarm system?

I'm sure Dan will pop in here and speak up, but until he does, most alarms come with an LED You can try Selectproducts.com they may have what your looking for.

Or just go to any +12V install shop. Installers typically have tons of extras that they could give you. If you can't find one, PM me and I'll mail you one as I was formerly an installer. :-)

Oh, and the only ones that i have are red... they are the DEI Viper ones. However, you can softly pop off the red, panel mount, LED surround and what you're left with is a small, clear super bright LED. So, you can flush mount it and barely see it since it's clear. When lit, it's nice and bright.

It will be more exensive to purchase an LED pre-wired for 12V, but you should be able to get any color you want at Rat Shack and add the proper resistor to it. For green, a resistor around 470 ohms should be good for you...
