But I would like to know whether the volume control on the left of the driver's side will not work if you install aftermarket decks. Or are there decks that have inputs for external volume control as well?

There is also the PAC SWI-X that many shops use. It has a delay I hear.

I have the Modifry DCI and it is lag-free and small enough to fit behind the radio.

How do you do "volume control" or something like that as one search phrase?

Instead of having "volume" or "control" as the keywords ...

 

+volume +control
it tells the search to look for both as requirements in the search.
