wiLL PAC-SWIX work with ANY head unit with IF remote?

Thinking of a Nakamichi head unit, and it has IF remote control. Wondering if the PAC-SWIX can still be wired up to use the dash controls....

Any ideas?

Yes, it replaced swix1, swix2 and swix3. It list the vehicles you can use the swix.

The answer to your title's question is a resounding NO. However, whether or not it will work with the unit you mention is unkown to me. If the IR carrier frequency is in the 40-50 kHz range, it will work, but if it's in the 400-500 kHz range, like the new Sony units, you're out of luck.
