Wiper click?
I just picked up an '01 S2000 with 12,000 miles. Everything seems fine except there is an electronic click every time the windshield wipers move. Since I've never driven another S, I hope this isn't normal.
It only happens on the slow setting and is the same click that the turn signal / hazards use. The car has an after market alarm installed, so I'm thinking there's something crossed with the wiring.

It isn't intentional as they are using a mechanical relay, which makes the clicking noise. Some newer turn signals are microprocessor based and thus not mechanical and no click. The advantage to these is that they provide a consistent flash without depending on the load. Some cars have their relays buried deep inside the car and then you can't hear them. Honda made the decision to use a mechanical relay and it is not covered with various components of the car.
If it bothers you so much, try to find an electronic relay and see if it will run the wipers at an equivalent speed.

I made one for my car because of the annoying clicking, but it's not pretty, or cheap.
I've often thought of making an add-on controller for the intermittents, one with speed-sensitive wiper timing, but I only think about it when it's raining.
