Default wire to connect remote wire

i previously had the remote wire connected at the head unit.. but lately i have found that it does not work so well.... so i decided to go straight to the fuse box.. saw 3 plugs.. ignition, constant, & lights.. is there anywhere else i can connect the remote wire?

thanx

Ed

Accessories would probably be the best solution...

what color was it hooked up to behind the radio?...im assuming blue/white (the remote wire)
if that doesnt work well.. hook it up to the red wire (acc wire) behind the radio.

hope that helps.

it was hooked up to the blue and white wire... so the only options i have are all behind the radio then?

Um, I could be wrong but isn't the Accessories wire yellow, and the constant 12v Red?

as far as the color of the wire i can't remember.. but it was the acc wire ..

when i say it doesn't work so well what i mean is

when i turn the key from acc to ignition or vice versa.. the amp would chip out for a few seconds.. i know that would happen for a split second but it happens for about 5 seconds each time... so i have no sounds when this occurs but yet the head unit is lit and the track is actually playing...

this just started happening a few months ago... i made no changes at that point to my system and it all of a sudden started.. i am clueless

I don't think it's your remote wire; it sounds like it's behaving exactly as
you'd expect if the power to the headunit was briefly cut while you turn
the key. If I had to guess I'd say you have a slowly failing ignition switch.
