Default Wiring the DCI

I have always installed my stereo stuff myself. However I am not sure with our controls and everything. I was looking at an Alpine headunit but as far as wiring the DCI do I need a special harness or anything. How difficult is this would you say?

If you buy the DCI and the harness from modifry it will just plug in, no wire cutting 30 sec. to install.

+1 for Modifry's PnP harness for Alpines. You could solder yourself if you really want to but I'd recommend the PnP harness.

Wiring the DCI is a piece of cake (you just have to solder a few more wires), but modifry sells an alpine plug and play harness where literally no soldering is required to install the DCI and alpine headunit. For the small price, I opted to just buy the PnP harness rather than have to solder anything. Soldering the connections wouldn't be difficult though.

If you're planning on getting the Alpine Power Pack amplifier, you can't use it with Modifry's PnP harness.
