Hi Guys,

I just recently got my car tuned and ECU swapped over to a Haltech Elite 1500. It was running totaly fine on the stock ECU and ever since swapping over to this, ive had issues starting and idling.

When starting, id get an error code of P0373 engine timing forward error and it was intermittent. sometimes that car would start after a couple seconds, other times it wont start and kept turning, id have to turn it off and try again until it randomly just starts.

The tuner has asked that I get the cam sensor and wiring checked as he thinks its probably an electrical fault rather than the cam actually being out.

I need a wiring diagram for the cam sensors please so that the mechanic can test the sensor and the wiring for me.

apparently there are 3 wires on each cam and a total of 2 sensors so 6 wires he will test? I had a look online but wants able to find it, I'm not sure if I'm even searching for the right thing to be honest

My car is a 2004, facelift, drive by cable if that helps. please can someone share with me the wiring diagram for this.

Thanks mate, where did you find that information from? I could try searching for the same thing for the UK models.

I am a Parts Manager at a dealer in the US, so we have access to Alldata.com to it for our Used cars.

 

Oh sweet. Would you be able to get wiring diagram for the UK model?

Or even for the US model. Just need to know which wire goes from the cam sensor to the ecu so I can get it tested and make sure its OK. Thanks.

 

I don't have access to the UK models unfortunately.

Above are the wiring diagram, and the respective ECU connector pinouts for where Cam Position are.
