Wiring schematic to make an on-off air bag switch?
I have a dilemna. I already have the authorization form from the National Highway Safety... to install an on-off air bag passenger side switch on my 04 S2000. However, after opening a case with American Honda for 3 months, I was told that Honda currently has no plans to make this switch.
If I can get the wiring schematic for the 04, it shouldn't be too hard to make a switch. Any suggestions? How can I get a hold of the schematic? Does anyone know of a good shop in Northern California (San Jose area) that would be able to do the job?
If I got lucky, if the wiring schematic for the 03 is the same as the 04, I should be able to use the 03 switch. Anyone know about this?

I have no idea how the switches are designed, but I would tend to doubt it's as simple as a basic switch. A standard switch woudl have nasty problems like ringing and other transients, items that don't play well with explosive devices. They MAY have designed the controller robust enough to use a simple switch, but safety is not an area I choose to compromise in.
