won an Ipod
The belkin still needs two cords to work. But one is missing. It is 3.5 mm to RCA. The belkin does have an "amp" in the cord (the 3.5 mm hole that sticks out from the side of the cigarette adapter). But the belkin is an overrated power adapter. $39.95?! For a power adapter and a crappy amp? IMO the Belkin Auto Charger w/Audio for iPod ain't worth it. Well, not for SQ folks. But if you want a solution NOW that sounds slightly better than an FM station go for it. OR save your money for the Ai net thingy from Alpine.
RWORNE,
Have you checked out Dension'd ICE link? It allows you to control the ipod through the headunit like a cd changer. I think it still uses the 3.5 to RCA, and the song titles are not displayed on the HU. But it is the best current solution I have seen so far. Check it out:

Oh yeah, it's quite nice. Download itunes now, you are going to need it to work the ipod.

My suggestion:
Rip all your driving music into 320kbps using iTunes
Get and install the PIE Logjam Hon AUX adapter
Get the Radio Shack RCA to mini stereo plug (to hookup to Ipod's headphone jack)
You're done. The sound quality blows my mind. Best $60 and 20 minutes I have ever spent.
I wouldn't worry about the recharging in the car unless you're going for extra long road trips. The battery lasts for about 6 hours anyway.
