Default Is it worth hooking up Modifry's speed control?

Will be having an Alpine 9857 installed in my '06 so I purchased the DCI from Modifry and was wondering if anyone uses the speed control feature and how you like it? Thanks in advance!

I like mine, but had to set it to the third highest setting before I was happy with it. Sometimes I have to adjust it when I hit a red light after driving, but you'd be doing this anyway without it - both acceling and stopping. You can always disconnect the wire if you don't like it.

Or disable it by hitting Mode & Chan at the same time......

Definitely make the connection and set it to the highest sensitivity.

The only downside to it is if you are searching through playlists/artists/etc.
and the volume changes, then the head unit will exit whatever selection
mode you were in. I usually disable the speed sensitive volume before
scrolling through the contents of my iPod.

good idea

Hook it up. It works well and is simple to disable and enable as described above.

I love the speed sensitive volume. The only downside for me is the mute function gets goobered up when the car decels or accels past one of the points. I just don't use the mute feature anymore.

I started off using the most sensitive setting and found that the volume changed too much driving around town. i backed the sensitivity off to the next most sensitive and have been happy with it ever since. I would suggest putting the module somewhere you can get to it easily so you can change the setting until you get it the wat you like it. You could put it behind that panel by your right knee.

The newers versions of the modifry allow you to change sensitivity with the mode controls only on the dash, so you don't have removed the radio to change any of the settings on modifry device.

I have been happy with the volume adjust.
I am used to the beep every time it changes, but it bothers passengers.
Is there any way to disable the beep?
