Not sure if it helps, but I picked up my Alpine 7894 on ebay (sealing in box) for $280 shipped. I can dig up the shop I bought it from if needed. I would imagine that you could purchase a used one for under $250. Good Luck!

Thanks, this is actually a little old, but I found a dealer here in Houston that sells the 7894 for $250 + tax, but I decided to keep my factory HU and use a line converter for now.
