Does anyone have XM radio. I got one for X-mas, but I have not installed it yet. I want to know what people think of it.

some advice... if you're in the market for a new radio, wait a month or two. Reason being is that the companies release their new 2002 models with new looks and upgraded specs. Otherwise current models will be discounted

Install it! It's well worth the 3 latte's worth of green. The reception is much better than FM in my area. Also, reception doesn't fade no matter how far you drive because it comes from the satellites.

There are basically 2 types of stations on XM. The XM produced stations and the third party produced stations that gets relayed to you by satellite. The native XM stations have no commercials and will display the name of the group/singer and title of the song being played. Third party stations are just like regular radio except that you get perfect reception and stations all around the US (LA KISS, Lite FM New York, etc...)
