Default XM Radio

I've started this post multiple times before and i'm still in search of the answer to my questions. They are:

Has anyone installed XM in their S2000?

Where would you install the antenna if you had the hardtop?
(xm antenna mounts on the highest flat metal surface of the car, will the hardtop interfere with it if it's on the trunk?)

Are there any other antenna options?

thankyou, Mike

No idea, I don't have XM radio - prefer the free stuff. Where did your local installer recommend you place the antenna?

Local installer say's the trunk, but he's just an installer, he doesn't know the specifics of frequency and such of the XM signal, i don't know if the signal is going to go to the top of the hard top when it's installed and not to the trunk mounted antenna? know what i mean?

Look at the angle between the base of the antenna and the top of the hardtop. Now imagine extending this line towards the top of a large building near you. The hardtop isn't going to stop any more signal than that building will as you close in on the building. I'm not intimately familiar with the XM system, but if they're flying more than one bird out there, your hardtop will generally only block the sight of one bird (but the others could be blocked by buildings as well, so in that case, your SOL )
