I just bought a S with a factory installed XM radio and I wish to remove the antenna on the truck because it looks stupid and I couldn't care less about having XM radio. Looking at the under side of the trunk I see that the unit is bolted to the trunk which leads me to believe that if I remove it there will be a hole.

Is my only option to get a replacement trunk lid? Where would be the best/ cheapest place to get an OEM one?

I'm would probably get it filled and re-painted. Not sure how much it would cost though.

 

Shoot, I'm in the other boat! I want an OEM XM antenna, but don't want to have to drill a hole. Too bad our trunks are not the same color.
