Default 04 s2000, just orderd flashpro

Yep, i know it says 06+, but i checked the code on my ECU and it says its supportable by flashpro. So any of yall that have an 04+ that want flashpro need to check your ecu code before you get dissapointed by not having an 06+. It should be in the next few days, so ill post up results.

from my understanding, flashpro applies to dbw cars only. but hey if it works, more power to you.

If your S is an '04, it's not going to work. The website must have given you wrong information...

Yea thats what i thought, that why i double checked it and called hondata... Sure enough, the ECU is new enough to be able to use flashpro. The guy said if the code you type is above a pzx-a04, it will work. and mine is a pzx-a05.

So two websites and hondata themselves are wrong?

And i have also found a few websites where you can order flashpro for the s2000. And It says 04-08 usdm models with ecu code of pzx-a04 through pzx-a21. Mine is pzx-z05.

As I've understood until now the ECU in the S has only been programmable since the '06s were introduced. That combined with the fact that an '04 has a mechanical throttle cable and an '06 has an electronic throttle would negate any chances of it working... but hey, if it does somehow work that would be sweet for a lot of owners on here.

Did you speak with someone at Hondata that said it'd work on your car?
