Hey guys,


I had my first megan racing header installed today. I am a little concerned with some things below. Please help if you can.

1. My engine light is on. There is o2 sensor on it and everything. I dunno why the light is still on. Would it hurt the engine if i drive with the light on for a few days? Also, is there like an extension i can install to fix the light issue?

2. My car sounds nothing like before. much louder near the engine bay and under the body. It sounds much deeper and kinda drone a little. I have Fuji exhaust with T1r testpipe. Never droned before.

3. Although there is no rattling anywhere, my exhaust tips and shift knob are slightly vibrating. Is it weird?

Please tell me if these things are normal for a car with a racing header. This is all new to me.

everything else is normal, except the check engine light. go to autozone and get the code and post it here.

 

Do you have flashpro? First guess would be the tp throwing the cat code. Did it happen after header install or was the light on before?

 

I had TP on before. Light never came on. Only came on now after the header is installed. I will go to autozone and have the code pulled. Thank you for your help.
