My 2001 ECU has a P1607 code.
Runs in limp mode, CEL is on.
Will not clear

Found an ECU with the following part number 37820-PCX-J01. I was told that it is for an AP1.

The dealer can not find any reference to the "J".

Could this possibly be a Spoon ECU for AP1 ?

I have not tried it yet, but all plugs are the same.


Any help would be appreciated.

Will this ECU work in a canadian AP1 S2000?

 

I think it will work but the tune is going to be a little bit off because of the differences with the JDM engines (higher compression ratio and higher octane fuel).
Also keep in mind you will need to reprogram the new ECU to work with the immobilizer key in your car.
