I feel like Hondata's assumption is that Cobb would make the accessport for the s2k identical to the one for the si and I doubt they would. Cobb is smart enough to know that a lot of people have a turbo or supercharger on their s2k and they would definitely make the accessport able to work with all of that. Also you better believe Cobb will try and make the accessport so that it can touch everything the flashpro can otherwise people have no reason to choose it over the flashpro. I really hope Cobb gets working on one for the s2k. I think one of the biggest hangups is that Cobb is pretty unknown in the Honda world.

bump!!!! I'd still like to see enough interest in this that Cobb at least starts looking into doing it.

It would be nice if they made something for MY00-MY05 but it's doubtful... so I'lll just have to buy an STI.

making something for 00-05 isn't cost efficient. First you guys would need a 06+ ecu. 00-05 ecu's are not able to be reflashed at all! people need to understand that. Also our ecus control our dbw system which you guys dont have so that would be another issue. And why make something that costs $700 + the cost of a 06+ ecu when you guys have the luxury of picking up an aem ems used for 1000 and under.

Played with the tunes on an STi and loved it. hopefully they can crack the ECU's for the none-DBW cars. They broke the GTR's computer! lets do the S!

COUNT ME IN!

This thread should be moved to the new S2000 Engine Management forum.

I'm definitely in! I was thinking of going K-Pro for my 03 but IF Cobb offer this I would jump on it.
