Talk about back from the dead!

Even though I would jump on this in a heartbeat if it was made for the AP1 I don't think this is ever going to happen even for the ap2.

This should be a sticky, or drummed into every 00-05 owner who asks the same question:

All S2000 engine computers before 2006 are not re-programmable. The processor chip uses ROM, not flash memory, and therefore the programming and data cannot be altered.

Very eloquent, yet succinct.

You know what else should be sticky ? the term "s2000 tax" and it should have a picture of the Hondata logo and the 1400 dollar rsx ecu conversion charge for a non plug and play solution for the ap1 - as it's definition.

A friend of mine works at Cobb in Austin, and he says that factory turbo cars are their bread and butter. There's just not a lot of power to be had out of re-tuning an S2000 vs. the typical car they tune, and I guess they just don't see a big market for it. Too bad, b/c I like the added functionality and the fact they're in my backyard, but the FlashPro is a quality unit as well.

Yea! Choices for consumers are bad! They should only have the option of AEM! Down with the free market!
