It's not really a comparison. If you have the coin, get the Infinity.

They'll both tune the car just fine. Some of the features of the Infinity might be something you're interested in, however, both are good.

So the Infinity has dual internal wideband controllers...does this essentially negate the need to have a wideband gauge? Also, I have a 5-foot extension harness that theoretically I believe should work with the Infinity s2000 jumper harness...can anyone confirm?

My harness:

the extension will work fine with the infinity. With the controllers built in there is no need to buy any other wideband controler/gauge

I'm in the same boat, talked to Evans and he said stick with the v2 its proven and works. Says AEM always has issues with there new software. He said if it was a full out race car then the infinity would allow more options. I'm also doing flex e85 shooting for 600whp

These two points have me torn. Logically, it makes sense to progress forward with the new tech and fall back on the ongoing provided support should you ever need it. However, the v2 has proven itself to be more than capable...and if it ain't broke don't fix it.

I'm definitely interested in the infinity, I'm hoping that since it was out for a few other models before it came to us, they worked out the kinks on those guinea pigs the few people that do have it seem to love the extra failsafes, and from what I've seen of it, looks like it starts faster? Some cars I've seen on the v2 the motor has to do a full spin to get a readout from the sensors before it actually starts the motor, the infinity seems to do it much faster, but I could be totally wrong about all of that. I'm having trouble shooting you a pm wadzii, could you message me your package price?

The Infinity 6/8H only has one built in UEGO controller, the Infinity 8/10 has two.

Correct, you don't need a wideband controller/gauge unless you want it there to view. Properly setup failsafes make this less necessary, you can also calibrate the check engine light to turn on under user configurable conditions (lean, overboost, low oil pressure, etc.).

Alternatively, if you already have a wideband controller/gauge, you can plumb the 0-5V output into the Infinity.

If your extension harness is a 100% pass through (has all required terminals populated and no pin swapping/splicing), yes it will work.
