Default PLX WBO2 with KPro, narrowband simulation

So I was researching, yet again, on using a wideband O2 sensor with KPro. I found the PLX WBO2 gauge that outputs a simulated 0-1V narrowband oxygen sensor signal based on the WBO2 reading. Seems like this would be perfect for KPro, as it is difficult to actually wire in the RSX WBO2 sensor and keep from frying your ECU. So, in actuality, you are feeding the KPro a narrowband signal, but using a WBO2 to get it.

Anybody done this? How did it work out? Probably still can't tune with it, but would eliminate the stock narrowband O2 sensor from under the car.

Here is the website..

I have the PLX WBO2 and had considered using the simulated narrowband with my KPro. Since all I would really achieve is the elimination of the stock O2 sensor, I opted to leave it alone and use it for WBO2 and used the ELD circuit for datalogging on the Kpro. Unless I'm overlooking some other advantage, I probably will stick to the stock narrowband since the Kpro already has the convenience of accounting for it in the parameters menu.

I have that exact PLX in my car. I've been wanting to wire it in forever since my primary narrowband o2 went to shit years ago. Never got around to it lol.

So how are you making the KPro work without a narrowband O2 sensor? Are you just running in open loop?

Why the sudden change in heart? Lol. I get it, I like to leave my closed loop on to adjust for a few percentage changes since the weather swings wildly around here, but it appears to have been working fine for you?
