Default AEM Series 2 2Step Switch Option

I've searched through the forum and can't find a specific answer, just other questions without answers. I've got an AEM v2 on a 2005 s2k and I want to put the two step on a switch. Preferably, Clutch engagement but another thread mentioned Cruise Control engagement which is fine as well. Whatever the case, I want to be able to switch between freely revving and engaging 2-step without having my laptop on hand. I've looked through the settings and the Input is currently 'Always On', and the drop down list is followed by several Switch T# options and I haven't been able to find on s2ki or otherwise what Input Switch should be selected. Can anyone confirm?

Thanks!

There's two clutch switches... a top and bottom... you can set it up for one of them. Switch 5 is the top switch im pretty sure... or I had to switch w wire on the top switch i forget, but switch 5 is defiantly one of them.

Thank you, sir. Easy enough to test out next time I can get it out on the road.

Also, huge thanks for the help getting my cold temp and hot temp start issues under control during the e-tune session! Driveability is fantastic.

Apologies for the delays in getting back on this. @AP1Chief I still haven't been successful yet. I've tried multiple switches and can't find an easy on/off. Looking at the AEM manual, Switches 1, 2, 3 and 5 are considered spares though Switch 1 is identified as "Brake Switch Signal", and Switch 5 in the pinout says "Electrical P/S Load Detect". Switches 2 and 3 are just labled as "Avail, Switched GND Input" for the D connector so they're not pinned anyways. Switch 4 is "VTEC Pressure Switch Signal", and Switch 6 is "A/C Switch Signal".

There's nothing in the v2 manual about inputs/outputs/switches for cruise control or clutch engagement. Anyone been able to figure it out?

I took A26 wire and wired to the clutch switch on the back of the pedal.... that used Switch 5... than you can toggle it with the Grd on option.

That makes perfect sense. I can definitely do that.

Reviving a bit of a old thread here but I'm at the same impasse and I just want to make sure I'm going about this the right way.

my plan is to split off from a wire on one of the clutch switches. I will pin this wire into D12 on the AEM series 2 D connector. This is "Switch 3, Input, avail switched GND input".

Then inside the the AEMTuner I'll set this pin to switched and then have my tuner setup from there the 2 step configuration?

Sorry, I've been trying to get this sorted and don't want to be wasting dyno time on wiring issues, there's not much information that I've found.

And it just depends if you doing a 12v or a grd output, you'll have to make sure you select the correct situation for what your doing.

and honestly, most customers, you do not need to use any switch for 2 step and launching, I just use VSS to determine 2 step on or off.

Clutch switch is better suited for WOT timing cut, for shifting.
