Default Aem v2 cold start problem

Hi, everyone, I’m new to the community. After the car been tuned by Aem v2, every time I start up the car the idle is too low. Some times it will shut off when the engine is cold. I have to peddle the gas to keep it running until the engine warm up. I don’t know anything about tuning. Need help with this problem.

If you have no experience but want to learn, join Evans Performance Academy and watch his videos. I did just that and tuned my car from scratch.

If you dont want to learn or dont have the time/resources, I'd contact a tuner. It could be simple, but it could be complex. No way to know without knowing what your tune is now and how its setup.

But you should probably clean your IACV to be sure.

Has warm up enrichment been enabled? Do you know or can you see what the idle target RPM is set to? This could be the result of over-fueling when the car is cold. You will need to check the fuel table after you start the car cold or at least take note of what your AFR gauge reads, assuming that you have one.

just hit up a tuner if you dont got the time, should be a simple fix as long as your car drives well after being warm.
