Default AEM v2 + Flex Fuel sensor?

A few days ago a performance shop told my friend that a flex fuel kit wouldn't work for my S2000 with the AEM EMS v2. Anyone have any experience with this? I recently purchased the SOS flex fuel kit thinking it would work for my setup.
