Default Please help with fuel system s85

hello everyone I currently have a ap1 and I want to add a e85 setup to it. Made about 430 on 93.

car currently has

Precision 6262
AEM V2
1000cc
FBM 340
AEM fuel rail
AEM regulator
NGK 2668

now my question is I want to safely run up to 600whp,

1. Do I need a flex fuel sensor with AEM v2? I would like to add E and 93 whenever I want to and have it adjust automatically.
2. Should I go 1300cc or higher, I would like to keep drivability close to OEM when i run 93.
3. Do I need to upgrade to a Walbro 450?
4. What kind of fuel lines and feeds should I run?

thanks for the help, please chime in any extra I may have missed.

E85 Flex fuel sensor kit from SOS.
ID1300X injectors.
Fuel pump bigger than the 255 walbro
Your welcome!

But definitely get the E85 flex fuel sensor kit first. Get it running/working then upgrade piece by piece dont do it all at once especially if your not familiar with all this stuff. Absolutely no reason to touch fuel lines btw.

oh ok I asked about the lines since I read that e85 isn’t good for the stock lines, or something like you don’t want to starve up too.

walbro 255 or higher, i have a 340 now from FBM, would I be ok

600hp on e85 with 1300cc injectors is pushing it. Would need a high base pressure or an aggressive tune.

First time ive ever heard of a walbro 255 making 600hp..

255 will not make 600 on e85 LOL

get a 450... 1300s CAN make 6... but its gonna be some high fuel pressure, and could max the pump out fairly quickly.

1300s be best drive ability though. once you move to 1650-2200s getting into some large injectors.

you don't HAVE to run a sensor, but it helps with consistency.

lmk if you need some retune help

Yes you need a flex fuel sensor and a flex fuel tune so you can be able to pump in E85 and pump gas and the eco will automatically up the boost and timing with higher percentages of eathonol in the tank. I recommend the science of speed flex fuel sensor kit.

Yes you you should up grade to id1300cc injectors. They will max out about about the 600whp level on E85. You will probably have to run a base fuel pressure of about 60psi. The id1300 is the biggest injector you can go for stock like drivability on normal 91/93 octane pump fuel. The bigger 1700 and 2000cc injectors you will start to hurt and sacrifice drivability especially on pump gas.

yes you need to up grade to a Walbro 450 pump and you need to reward it. I recommend the sos fuel pump wiring kit.

Stock fuel lines will be fine with E85 and a 600whp goal.
