Default AFR's at WOT on boosted s2k...?

What kind AFR's are you guys tuning for on your boosted s2000's?

I got my car tuned and made 433whp. Happy with the results.

ap1 w/ 3mm headgasket
mini-me turbo setup with GT35r
ID1000's
hondata map sensor.
94 octane pump gas

Last night I got around to hooking up my AEM guage to my AEM series 2 and did some data logging.

From 7000-9000rpm at full boost (15psi) and full load, I'm reaching 10.09 by readline. And mostly sticking in the 10's from 7-9k rpm.

The tuner wanted to make me a safe tune, and from teh soudns of it 10-10.5 AFR is VERY conservative.

Should i be asking him to take some fuel out?

What are your guys targets for IDLE? CRUISE? WOT?

Thanks in advance. I'm a newbie to tuning, but would like to learn more.

i believe 12.5 is where you want to be, 10's seem pretty rich, sounds like the tuner didnt want to mess with timing so he just left it rich?

Did you properly "sync" your gauge to your AEM?

There is a calibration procedure for running an Analog gauge into the AEM, so make sure you did this properly and are not getting skewed results from the log.

You could also have someone watch the gauge in the car to see if they match what you are logging in AEM.

Ya I just picked the guage in the setup wizard. I doesn't checked the calibration figures with the ones in teh wideband's manual.

And the figures show the same on my laptop as my guage.

I talked to my tuner today about taking some fuel out. He said that my car ran best with the amount of fuel i'm getting, and that I should leave it alone.

I am considering turning on O2 feedback for the cruise, idle, partial throtle though..... don't really knwo how to use it thoguh.

I'd be tuning that setup for 11.5:1 under boost. Mid 11's work well, it gives you a bit of fudge factor to either the rich or lean side and will still keep the engine well within the 'safe' window. 10's is a bit on the rich side.

Yea I thought 11.5 is what everybody aims for as a guideline. I wonder why my tuner thought my car ran better @ 10.1......

Makes me think I'm missing out on some power.
