Default CR shift light programming

Anyone with CR know if theres a way to reprogram the OEM shiftlight with flashpro? Since rev limiter is raised, the oem shift light became quite useless.

on a side note, anyone with flashpro /reflash using a good shift light?

I was actually thinking the same thing on my CR. Apparently it's a "power" light and not a shift light lol

did you bought the shift light?

I saw this one from Evasive http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/merchant...de=GIZZMO_SHIFT

There's also the shift beep from Modifry's. I personally prefer the visual shift light...

Its the max power indicator light. It would be nice to somehow program it as a functional shift light

Well, most all the S2000 clusters have an Alarm LED built into the cluster. This is actually the SAME LED which is used the CR but the CR uses it for a different purpose.

This makes me feel that there must be an input on the harness for the alarm LED. If anyone knows which wire it is I would be VERY HAPPY. It could be used for all kinds of cool stuff.

I personally want to set it as a VTEC notification (just so as to be 100% sure VTEC cams are engaged provided they are not audible)

There's practically no way you can drive and DOHC Honda motor and NOT be able to tell when its engaged. ESPECIALLY on the S2k. Its impossible.

The stock setup is exceptionally quiet with vtec engaged.

But you most definitely know you crossed over lol.
