I've been including my customized throttle map with every eTune I do. Some people like it, and some don't.

Ok, so the Gernby customized throttle map is not something that just reflects your preferences, but rather targets a 1:1 between pedal and plate positions? Does anyone have the experience to say if it really makes the DBW pedal feel like the cable actuated models?

The throttle maps takes a few minutes to get used to, but it makes driving around town a lot smoother.

This is probably best for stock clutch and flywheel.

If you have a lighter flywheel, it's likely not going to feel "right".

The Hondata throttle plate is what you are looking for. If you are using one of their canned tunes, it's already there.
If you have a Gernby tune, go to the Throttle Plate chart, right click, and I think it's import from existing tune, and just use one of the Hondata Tuned tunes.

Make sense? I don't have the software in front of me right now, but it's just a few clicks.

If I understand you correctly, you are looking for the the Table called "TPlate Normal", found under "Throttle" within the Calibration or "Target throttle plate" from the table dropdown.

I'm using the one referenced here. You should be able to paste this into Hondata.

Code:

I'll continue the revival of this thread. I suffered for a year with a modified "toda header" map without modifying the throttle plate. This makes a world of difference in driving around. Stop and go traffic no longer whips my passengers heads back and forth. Very easy to do

Has anyone pulled off the intake and physically looked at what the different throttle position percentages corresponds to on the actual throttle plate on the throttle body? Did you do this gernby is this why you say 66% basically = WOT?
