Default Does this mean it's a V1?

Looking to buy a aem edu for my 2001 ap1 s2000 and I came across this used ecu. It doesn't say Version 2 so does that mean its an old version 1? If so, what is the main difference? he's asking for around $700.

1052-0146 and he responded version 1. What's the difference, is it not plug and play? I read that the early versions you need adapters and what not.

the main difference you'll see is that the v1 can not directly drive the coolant temp gauge, you will have to buy a modifry ect fix for that.

Doesn't seem like that big of a deal. He's selling it for $650 should I go with that or try to get a version one for around 1000 used?

The biggest and worst thin about the version 1 is that is it not flex fuel compatable. Flex fuel is one of the best mods for a turbo charged car. It by far one of my favorite mods.
