Default eManage Harness without eManage

I have a doubt..

Lets imagine that I have the Greddy harness connected to the OEM ECU but the eManage itself is not connected to the Harness.

Would the car work 100% exactly like OEM? (no CELs no weird behaviour?)

I need to know it, because I need to unplug the eManage for inspections..

Are you talking about ulitmate emanage not like I think it matters. I don't think it will work at all. Why do you need to unplug for an inspection. You will be disconnecting sensors. Just unplug the the harness and plug the factory harness into to the ecu. It takes 10 mins If that.

Well.. basically i need to unplug it, because this device is ilegal and inspectors don't use to like to see ilegal devices mounted in the car (If they find them of course)

Removing the harness is not that easy.. since it involves removing the ECU bolts, remove the ECU, unfold the harness and so on.. (so, of course it's possible, but it's easier to just unplug the eManage)

And yes.. it's a Ultimate. I don't have it mounted right now, that's why I cannot try myself.. I was thinking that the eManage it's just a piggyback that intercepts signals and reprocess then (meaning that the car would work as before if it's not conected)

It won't work. It is doing more than just tapping into wires it is intercepting signals.

Will they look under the seat? That is a great place to mount it.
