Default Engine timing profiles

I know that I should be relying on the knock sensor for appropriate timing, but I would like an idea on the most timing that I should be running. I am really only concerned at the low to midrange loads (under 100 kPa). I understand that how much fuel I am putting in is a factor as well. I was on the understanding that 45 was ok for na and 35 should be ok for f1. My knock is at most 1.5 volts being wide open. Just want to play it safe.

I don't think it's wise to "rely on the knock sensor" for anything. I spent tons of time datalogging and tuning ignition timing maps and knock sensitivity maps to achieve the timing curve below, which I believe is as close to MBT as I'm going to get. However, this is at about 970 mBar.

Red is my ignition curve, and blue is the stock curve. VTEC in the red curve is at 3900 RPMs.
