Default flash pro input output interface

Just wondering if hondata has any thought into adding a input output interface for the flash pro. to control such things as ivtec, nitrous control and boost control. either by tapping into the C.A.N. network or keeping the flash pro in the car and connecting via usb to the pro. Its just an idea and might be useful.

I know there is the k-pro that does have these controls, but the flash pro really seems like the future and just adding on later if you need these controls would be great.

I don't think you are going to get ananswer to this from Hondata, since they seem to be pretty tight-lipped about future development.

I also don't think there is any chance that Hondata would develop anything that would effectively convert the FlashPro into a psuedo piggy-back for nitrous control. However, I believe they already have implimented boost control using the OEM ECU, so I hope that they will figure out a way to impliment Nitrous control in a similar manner. Nitrous support is really the only thing that I think is "missing" from the FlashPro.

I see now that they added boost control in the FlashPro for the Civic, so I wouldn't be surprised if they add it for the S2000 soon.

They don't have to respond it would be nice to know if they thought about it. It would be a killer feature.

What feature are you referring to as "it"? There have been several features discussed in this short thread.

Just the ablity to control add on functions or some type of output control. Of all the flash tunners (in general) out there no one does it. I would like to have ivtec, meth control, boost control. Even some inputs would be nice like egt.

I would rather have them focus on refining the current offering. From a product standpoint they should implement more in the kpro.
