Default FlashPro & 3 BAR MAP sensor

As many know, the 2006-09 Honda S2000 uses a proprietary MAP Sensor body. In the past, we have used the K-series MAP sensor requiring customers to modify the sensor housing to fit the stock plug.

We could not justify the very costly process of molding a housing specific for the 2006-09 until Hondata released the Hondata FlashPro for 2006-09. This engine management tuning device is a fantastic advance for the 2006-09 S2000 allowing customers to tune fuel, ignition, and VTEC while retaining the factory ECU - all at a very attractive price of $695.00. As many of these cars with the FlashPro will be using supercharger and turbocharger systems above 10 PSI requiring an upgraded MAP sensor - we've responded with the release of the ScienceofSpeed 4 BAR MAP Sensor for 2006-09 Honda S2000.

This is the only sensor offered that allows true plug-and-play installation. No grinding of the senor required for fit or wire modifications required. In addition - the sensor is already available in the Hondata KPro and FlashPro software as an optional sensor requiring no calibration. Installation takes less than a minute (remove stock sensor, replace with new sensor) and setup in the software is a simple drop-down selection - allowing users to be ready to tune in less than two minutes with the new sensor - fantastic!

I purchased this sensor and would like to know if once I receive it, I can just swap it and change the settings for the sensors without modifying my maps?

I believe the answer is no and the car would need to be retuned, but mind as well ask.

Thanks, J

you shouldn't need to be retuned

I wanted to let you know that the MAP sensor for 2006-09 Honda S2000s have been shipping. This is the ideal solution if you are using forced induction systems for any 2006-09 Honda S2000.

A customer recently tuned his ScienceofSpeed Supercharger System with this new MAP sensor and Honda K-Pro to produce over 500 wheel horsepower:

We also have MAP sensors for 2000-05 as well. Considering a high boost supercharger or turbocharger system? Don't forget the MAP sensor. Easy plug-and-play installation compatible with any engine management system:

thank you again,
