flashpro quetions
i was looking into getting a flashpro for my 06 s2k. im only looking to put- exhaust with testpipe/spoon snorkel with stalk intake. im looking for a more responsive tune. would have to dyno then do a custom tune or are the tunes they have on the program going to be good enough? i was thinking about sending my dyno to church to get tuned, but then thought since im not doing so much mods. i might be able to get away with not doing a custom tune.
any info will be greatly appreciated.
thanks

I would not run any of the default "tunes". You need a proper tune on your specific car to optimize performance and do it safely. Your choices are either dyno tune or e-tune. There is plenty of info out there on e-tune if that is the route you want to go.
I highly recommend a Gernby tune.
Contact him and get ready to connect your FlashPro. Since this is an e-tune it takes time to exchange data with him but the effort is worth it. Don't dick with the engine tuning yourself, just leave it stock and follow his instructions. You will make 21 power runs (on the road) in 3d gear from about 20 to 80 mph and capture the data. Since these are diagnostic and not driving tunes, restore the stock tune and send the data to him. You'll get more calibrations to run and capture. Mine took 3-series of calibration runs.
VTEC is typically set to 3,600 rpm and mid-range power increases are astounding. Car gets to the rev limiter very fast! So fast I installed a red line alarm horn.
