i have 2 vehicles. 1 is a 04 and the other is an 06. I was wondering if it would be possible to swap the 04 motor and tranny into the 06. I I have everything installed on both cars and both runs. I know there are some electrical and sensor differences which I will have to swap over as well. i guess mainly, what i want to know is if the head and the block are the same in all aspects so if i need to swap out one for the other (sensor, intake manifold, etc) it will all mate up. Yes you can, in fact, I've posted in several threads about this as well as other members. Since you have both cars, the swap will be a breeze. In your case, do the reverse in these threads

I have an '04 motor in my '08. IIRC, you just need to swap some sensors, and use the DBW intake manifold.

Thanks for everyone's input and confirmation.

i have the intake manifold from a DBW car. the only thing that i am confused is the crank trigger wheel. it appears to be 2 pieces (the black color one, and the silver piece) and possibly even 1 more sensor. all of which are behind the timing belt cover if I recall correctly. if this is correct then all that's required are :

- DBW intake manifold
- all external sensors
- both crank trigger wheels and associating sensors behind the timing belt cover?

 

You need DBW intake manifold from the 06+s2000, valve cover and sensors from 06+s2000, and to swap the 05 trigger wheel from the 05 s2000with the 06+ trigger wheel from the 06+ s2000.
