Default FlashPro update enables external wideband O2

The beta version of FlashPro Manager 1.1.4.6 includes enhancements that allow the use of ECT2 or ELD as inputs for external wideband sensors. However, I haven't been able to find anything in the help documentation to indicate whether the external wideband can be used for closed loop operation instead of the OEM wideband, or if the data is just passed through to the datalogs. Has anyone tried this yet?

Here is another thought. Using the WOT Fuel tables and setting leaner values of 12.5:1 you could use the wideband to control WOT.

I don't understand this post. Did you mean to post in this thread?

closed loop control at WOT dosnt work very well, most of the time the engine changes speed too quickly for it to work.

I haven't been following FlashPro as much lately, but I downloaded the beta version and saw Boost Control settings. Can FPro now control boost??

I may have been too deep in it. This is sort of related but since you would get greater accuracy from the wideband you could look at controlling WOT fuel levels thought the af targeting values in the WOT fuel tables.

In the Hondata manual for the WOT fuel tables.

I would only consider closed loop at WOT if it could be limited by gear (ie. only in gears 3-6), since the O2 sensor wouldn't respond quickly enough for closed loop to work in 1st gear.

I believe boost control is now available on the S2000 FlashPro, but you can confirm it on the Hondata forum.
