if i am reading this right, why are you freaking out about 1.4volts of knock above 7k rpms? the threshold shows 3.28 before it starts retarding timing. motors get noisy as they rev out, esp that high. i consistently see 2.3 volts of knock in the upper end of the rpm range.

if, again, i am reading this right, you are fine.

the knock graphs show you hit knock threshold in part throttle. thats all i see in those logs. looks like a tip in thing if at all.

lol, i wouldn't consider it freaking out, just trying to see what this means since everyone says "knock is bad" and i registered some knock, so wanted to figure out the implications

So, are you prescribing a chill pill?

in the logs he posted, i see knock in part throttle. when he went WOT his knock was well below the threshhold and the one value showed is 1.4voits.

dont take my word for it, call your tuner and ask him, i guarantee he says thats fine.

now if you were seeing 3+ volts, yeah, id trouble shoot that.

the knock in part throttle still needs to be looked at, but like i said could be full tip in, maybe nothing.

where do you see part throttle knock? on the left side of the last 2 graphs i posted?

it didn't knock there, at least it didn't register a knock count, it only knocked going WOT (TPS = 100%) where I put the cursor and took the screen shot, between time of 2:40 and 2:41

excessive knock voltage is bad, but there will always be some knock voltage up that high in the rpm band. im not a tuner, but under 2.5v is not something to be worried about.

again, contact your tuner, let him look at the log.

in part throttle between 2.28 and 2.29 is the only point that knock volt and knock threshold meet from what i see.

i beleieve the green line is your actual knock voltage off the knock sensor, and the blue line is the threshold before kpro starts to pull timing to prevent detonation. the knock threshold will rise as rpms rise since, as i said, motors get noisy as they wind out.

dont take my word for it, contact your tuner.

Change your MAP max range to 2.5 to see better resolution in your datalogs. Hondata still hasn't fixed this bug...MAP is in bar when its being displayed as "/psi
