Haltech Platinum
Looking to buy my first standalone for my 05 AP2. From Vancouver BC, and seems like I can only get my hands on a Platinum Pro. Is it still worth it these days and if not, is there any recommended ECU’s within a similar budget?
Budget is around $2000-2500CAD and I should’ve clarified, seemed like the only standalone Haltech I can buy locally. Wondering if it was still worth to buy or if there was a newer ECU that’s a better bang for buck in the price range.
Go ELITE or AEM Infinity from SOS.
Platinum is a fantastic unit but once again dated. No onboard wideband, Eeek.
Also if I recall correctly knock processing unit is neutered/dated. I believe you can’t select specific frequency and that’s a big no no for me right off the bat.

Edit: Slightly off-topic but I just heard LINK might be coming out with their ECU for the S2000. I am definitely drooling over the idea of trying that as my next ECU.
