Default Help with aem 1052u and wideband

Finally getting finished with my project. I've had this AEM EMS 1052u for a few years now and am finally installing it. Since it's the u model with the built in UGEO sensor. Can I just buy a wide band sensor to replace the primary o2 sensor, and plug it right into the harness? If so what sensor do I buy thanks.

buy the AEM inline uego or the one with the gauge which uses a bosch sensor. you do not need the stock o2 sensors anymore after installing the ems so you could just uninstall BOTH of them and cap the bung on the cat/hfc/tp. Replace the stock o2 on the header with the aem wideband (solder the sensor wire to one of the extra pins that the ems comes with, detach the o2 sensor C pin from the ECU harness, insulate it for future when you go back to stock or need to pass smog, and snap the UEGO pin into its place)

Now I'm confused. I have theversion 1 1052u. Which has the built in UGEO sensor, but I would have to buy the inline UGEO sensor also?

So then you already have the uego? It should come with the bosch sensor and controller box. Install it as I mentioned above. Are you sure you got the wideband?

The uego comes in many forms. The old one comes with a controller box+sensor, then the gauge one has the controller built inside the gauge+sensor, the inline uego has a miniature contoller built into the wireharness+sensor.
