Default Hondata Question

Can I purchase an unmarried hondata flashpro from 8thgencivic and use it for my S2000 or are these 2 different models? I am getting lots of answers with little to no consistency here.

I believe if you update the unit from Hondata's site you can use it in either car - is this correct? Would like to know before I take the plunge. If anyone knows whether or not I need an S2000 specific unit please do let me know!

Thanks in advance guys

I would try calling Hondata and asking.
There is the sticker on the back of my unit that says "2006+ US s2000" or something along those lines.

I would check the Hondata forum first, since it's probably been asked before.

For anyone else who stumbled upon this thread the answer is no, you can't use the Civic version. You need an S2000 specific flashpro
