Default AEM EMS Determine Misfiring Cylinder

Bare with me as I'm a newb here, but I have a misfiring cylinder and I'm running aem ems v1 w/ aempro v1.3.

I have a cylinder that is misfiring. I haven't had time to look under the hood yet as the weather here hasn't been cooperative. I'm just curious if it's possible to tell which cylinder(s) is misfiring using the aempro software, and if it is possible, where would I find that information in the program?

thanks for the help.

if you do a few internal logs and really know what to look for you can sometimes tell which cylinder it is.

your best bet is to go through all the simple checks first.. spark plugs, injectors, compression test, etc before you start looking to the ems.

Is this something that is just now happening or has it always happened w/the aem in the car?

Yeah that's what i'm going to do this weekend, but I was just wondering if it was possible.

Car was running fine until the other day when i was on the highway. I got the rpms up to about 4k, and then felt a cylinder cut out. I let off the gas, and the car was running fine. Took an off ramp about 30 seconds later, and then it seemed the cylinder cut out completely. Sounded like a WRX. I hope it's something simple.

If it sounded like an STI then you for sure had a dead cylinder. I'm not familiar with AEM(yet) but if you do a log and simulate the condition, then I'm sure the A/F will show a miss fire condition. I'm not sure how you would check which cylinder with the EMS though.

Do like stated earlier, check your plugs and do a compression test.
