Default KPro Help.

Ok, finally got everything put back together. I have a low compression motor with AP1 heads. Still have stock MAP sensor, but put in ID1000 cc injectors. Planning on turbo, but not here yet. When I try to start car, it just fires and misses. When I set the injector size to 2000 cc, it will start but misses and is blowing gas out the exhaust. SOunds terrible. Just trying to get it to the tuner. Any help would be appreciated.

First, if the car won't start with large injectors and there is a lot of fuel don't persist cranking - you'll wash the bores down.

Go over the wiring and check the crank and cam sensors are the correct type and plugfed into the right connectors. Check the MAP and TPS are plugged into the right sensors and that there are no leaks around the MAP sensor. Pull the spark plugs, check they are clean, blow out the bores with compressed air if there is fuel in there. Check for compression when cranking and finally fuel pressure Next try starting the car. If it doesn't fire right up, switch back to stock injectors until you find the problem.

Ok, well cranks now, but still running rough and blowing gassy smoke from tailpipe. Will it start if crank and cam sensors are backwards?

Its like its missing, or misfiring. Changed plugs, checked coils. Checked wiring and all ok. Have a fuel pressure gauge on fuel rail and it is showing fuel pressure. Can't just switch back to old injectors as I changed the connectors. No plug and play. Need some help.

I'm assuming you did this, but I figure it doesnt hurt to ask the dumb questions. You did swap the cam sensor thing with an AP2 one right?

If the crank sensor is bad it won't even fire. If the cam sensor is bad you'll get error codes. On that note, make a short datalog and post it here.

Also consider a leakdown / compression test.

Ok, did compression check this AM. 145 on all cylinders (low compression motor and cold). Plugs look absolutely fouled. These are brand new plugs and have only been ran during attempted starting yesterday. Black and smell like gas. There are no error codes (on the KPro Datalog) other than the CEL being illuminated when it is misfiring. It is like the injectors are dumping a ton of gas at the car. These are ID1000 cc injectors that I put on during this build. They were used, but supposedly in good working order. If I have a bad injector, will it cause all the plugs to foul? Could I have wired the injectors backwards? Would that a make a difference? Also, the fuel pressure is reading 58 psi at the fuel rail. I have a Walbro 255 and am using the stock FPR. Help....
