kpro problems

i just got a brand new kpro installed in rsx ecu

but i have some problems with it

when i try to load calibration into ecu,the engine stops also if i push "upload changes to ecu"

to upload a full calibration takes minimum 40seconds
and the realtime update is not working, because if i change anything,it does not go to ecu just if i push "upload changes to ecu"

can you tell me what to do now?
thank you

got the answers from hondata.
no real time on kpro

Kpro does not have real time updating. Turn the car off before you upload a kal. The car will die if you try to upload a new kal while its still running.

I don't want to start a new thread. I'm running with the stock kpro basemap and all I have are J's racing headers. After I installed everything, on the way home my temp would rise 1-2 bars and a CEL would come on. Eventually I was easy on the throttle and the temp went back to normal when I got up to highway speeds and my CEL went away. I was wondering if this is normal? Will this go away after a tune?

sounds like something else is wrong w your car, what was the code?

I'll have to look at it later, my code reader is at my shop.

kpro reads them too

Where would I find that in the kmanager software?

DFWs2k 03-22-2010 07:19 PM

do you have kmanager on your computer?

there is an error code button all the way to the right on the line that the "New Calibration" button is on

DFWs2k 03-22-2010 07:20 PM

or in the "window" menu, ctrl+6
