Thanks! Its too late for me to drive anywhere right now, but I'll do it first thing in the morning. Also, the temperature dropped when I was idling at a red light or stopped for a bit. I added more coolant and double checked my hoses before everything went back in.

ok, i dont even know if you'd have to drive around to pull it if it stored it?
idk how kpro works with codes that don't stay on though |
Kpro can display codes that cause a CEL, but not if they go away.
If the car is throwing a code with a CEL, plug up your laptop and go to the errors tab. The code number and name will be displayed. You can clear the code from here as well, but if the cause isn't fixed it will show up again soon thereafter. |
Okay I'm getting a P0217, Engine overheating. My kmanager shows the error, even though the CEL is not on.

ouch not good

oh if you dont replace the IAT, it says temp reads about 30 degrees higher, did you replace that sensor when doing the install?

In the parameters menu, under protection. I had Generate P0217 overheating error code checked. I'm quite sure this is the cause of everything.

What was your ECT threshold set at?
