Default Looking for supercharger advice!~!~!~!

So let me start by saying I need to learn as much as possible.

I am looking at a Vortec V2 kit.

My question is what is management system to tune the car for the best specs and power gains.

Ive done research seeing the hondata for ECU RSX type s swap and piggy back systems.

Ive seen and am leaning more towards the AEM EMS style systems.

Are there pros or cons to either.

Tried to look this up but I couldnt find a form around meth and e85.

You do not want a vortec system, if you live in Cali then CT engineering and if not SoS is the way to go. AEM doesnt pass smog if you have to do it, Kpro does.

IMO AEM infinity is the best of the best but will not pass smog so Kpro4 is the next best option.

You will get meth and e85 support with both.

Planning on doing 12-14 PSI

Bought the kit from a junk yard who didnt know what they had for under 1k soooooo its going to be a V2 Vortec lol

Planning on 1000cc injectors 255 fuel pump and e85

I dont need to pass smog

Just need to make sure since I got the kit sooooo cheap looking to spend the money to be able to get the best tune out of the car.

I was looking at the AEM infinity. From my understanding it passed smog. I dont need to pass smog. But I just want to make sure I am not completely destroying resale value when I am board of the car a year down the road....

Why does the infinity not pass smog?

If you don't beat the shit out of the car, and return it to stock, when you sell it, resale value shouldn't take a hit. If you, however, leave the supercharger on at time of sale, some will pay your asking price, some will assume the care was driven hard and offer less.

AEM Infinity won't pass emissions test, as it doesn't speak OBD and bypasses many of the emissions sensors.

I personally would choose a tuner I am comfortable with first. That way, you purchase what they have the most experience with tuning. Example: My tuner and I like Hondata, so I went with Hondata, however, if I lived near an experienced S2000 haltech tuner, I'd use Haltech. Always pick the tuner first.

Do a thorough inspection on your kit.
Make sure you get e85 compatible fuel pump.
The ID are so ur good there.

Don't think you'll run out of injector with that kit on e85 so you should be good there.
