Talking OBD2 lure with AEM EMS

Hi,

In France, when passing the "tehcnical check" every 2 years, the OBD2 has to be connected and as I understood, the computer checks via the OBD2 taht there is no engine defaut, pollution default or else.

I am willing to install and AEM EMS v1 on a 2003 AP1 (UK rhd S2000), and so will loose the OBD2 port.

So I was wondering if it could not be possible to create a "lure", connected to the OBD2 port, which would send a signal just like "ok little computer, ereything is ok on this car, go check tire wear and see ya !". That would be wonderfull

I am not experience enough in EMS to answer this question, so waiting for your advice

Thanks.

I'm sure it's possible but it's not something that's easily available since it would be highly illegal, in the US I'm sure you would got to jail for a very long time if you are selling anything like this
The better solution is to get an EMS that still has OBD functionality.
There is at least these few that does work

Doctronics ProECU

You always have the option to switch back to stock ecu when its time for OBD check.
Either way you should seriously consider to upgrade to a newer and better EMS.

Contact any German car maker. Start with Volkswagen. They have software that will enable any car to pass emissions. I doubt they'd need to poison gas any more monkeys to get one to fit your car.

Getting back to stock ECU is actually the solution I have in mind. Actually, I am willing to supercharge, reason wy I will install the EMS.
So if would have to get back to stock ECU and remove SC belt at least. I d'ont know if the bigger injectors (RC 750cc) can stay in place or also need to be switched back to oem.

No you would need to switch back to stock injectors as well.
