So just looking for a few opinions... recently i got a 2005 S2000 with 35K on it. Generally i go with Castrol Syntec in the 10w30 weight in my vehicles. I live in florida so it is ALWAYS hot as hell here. My question is what would you all suggest? The car is new to me so i will switch to filter and oil that is best for this car. Thoughts?

 

Most people including me here go with mobil 1 Fully synthetic oil.

 

i use mobil, but im thinking of giving some other brands a try.

I'm using Royal Purple. No complaints so far.

 

Is there any way to relate oil consumption with ignition/vtec control timing?
