Default Purge control on = occasional rough idle?

I was noticing a slight fuel smell coming from a Turbo S2000 I recently purchased. Knowing the Hondata ECU could control the OEM system, I figured my first stop was to see what settings the ECU had. Sure enough, switched off.

Turned it back on and drove for a bit. I noticed most, but not all, times I came to a stop the car would idle low and rough for a couple seconds and then return to normal.

Anyone else see this before?
I guess it makes sense, if the system is using engine vacuum... just surprised it would be that noticeable.
Is it possible to have the IAC motor add more air to bump the idle up some during these purge events? Or is there another tuning trick to address it?

Many thanks in advance!
Best,
John

You can adjust your idle valve duty cycle to keep you from dipping so much off throttle.
